I can't believe it's already here - half way though our year. For some reason thinking that Megan is 18 months seems easier than saying, she's officially 1 1/2 years old. My baby is growing up - and way too fast! Here are our mid-year stats:
Height: 32 1/4 inches (50-75%)
Weight: 25 lbs, 13 oz (50-75%)
Head: 48.5 (90%)
She handled her shots like a pro and once I got her attention off her cool band-aids, she recovered quickly. Our appt. was during what should've been her naptime so I was really worried. We got home and she slept for 3 1/2 hours.... it was a one nap day. And let's just say, I didn't really enjoy it! I can say that it will be a long time before we offically go to 1 nap a day. Our 2 naps (1 1/2-2 hours each) is just fine with me because it keeps a little girl all happy and content.
The sad news.... yes, as I feared we already have an ear infection. Friday morning she woke up and really gave me an ear full while digging at her right ear so I was worried. But she is sleeping fine and seems ok so we let it go knowing we were going in today. And sure enough, it's infected. Not bad, but with her history we are back on antibiotics and depending on if she gets another one back to back will determine our approach to this cold and flu season. We did get our flu shot today..... ugh. Praying for good ears!

I bet she will be one of those who just suddenly gives up that morning nap. Carson held on for a long time. I hope Megan will follow in his footsteps.
I have already forgotten what Macie's stats were at 18 months.
I just found it. Megan is exactly the same height as Macie was at 18 months. Her weight is higher, but I think it is all in her head! Her head is 2cm larger than Macie. The sad thing is Macie's head is much larger than Carson's at this age.
Happy 1.5 birthday, Miss Megan!
You are such a sweet and amazing little lady. You are a great blessing to your Mommy and Daddy...and to this whole family!
We love you!

Happy Half-Birthday Munchkin!
I agree with Mommy that you are growing up too fast. I am so impressed with all the stuff you can do.
Your Uncle Dan loves you very much, and he looks at your picture on his desk at school frequently!
