New Friends and lifelong lessons...

We took a bit of a hiatus and headed to MN last week. We had a great time with family and friends. Buckle up because this week will be full of lots of details of the week in review.

We started and ended our trip at Uncle Tony and Auntie Dawn's (Tom's cousin). Megan had a grand time making new friends our first night there....

Her new best friends are Bear, Buddy, and Bebe!

Buddy, the scardy cat, was the really smart one... he knew to keep out of Megan's reach.

Bebe, the old lady and princess of the house, was so curious about Megan, and Megan was curious about her... Megan was very, very interested in how the kittys ate (and their special bowl - which at some point she thought was her own personal water splashing table).
Bear is truly her new bestest friend - a big teddy bear! She LOVED him - loved on him, loved him to the point of wanting to give him her snacks (picture below), wanting to roll on him, wanting to kiss him, etc... He was a saint (if cats can be saints) and put up with her loving - which sometimes got rough.
And that was all within the first 12 hours of being in MN....

By the time we left their place to head to Grandma and Papa's place, Megan had already learned some valuable life long lessons!

How to play a little B-ball....
How to drive.....
How to melt Uncle Tony's heart with that signature smile (while lounging - another skill she learned).
