Fun in the kiddie pool

With school starting back this week and a nice drop in the temps, we had an overcast day at a very uncrowded pool. As a matter of fact, we were the only ones there. The water was a little chilly but Megan was so grumpy from teething that we needed a fun diversion to keep her happy until nap time.
We took advantage of all that space to ourselves and Megan pulled in her "pool boat" to the kiddie pool. She about drowned herself trying to figure out how to get in it (she didn't want help). Finally I had to rescue her after she flipped it on top of her head, and help out a little. Once in the boat she had a blast. She would push herself around the little pool - walking backwards, twirling, trying to jump up and down, laying all the way back... It was hysterical. I finally grabbed the camera and got a little of the action as she chattered to herself.
