Really, we do DO school....

So with one week down, I feel like I need to say - yes, we do actually "do" school.  It's not all field trips and such.  Not ALL of it at least.....

 A little "race to 100" with base 10 blocks as Nicole reviews place value.  Megan begged to join in because we were having so much fun. 

Yeah - pajama's are the normal fare over here, at least until lunch.  What can I say - they wake up and run downstairs to start school..... who am I to send them back up to change first?  Let's just learn, ya'll!

And Monday afternoon we headed to the local Nature center for their Homeschool info day.  We can't wait to join in on this once a month!  We met a few folks, got the schedule and then the girls just explored and went on a scavenger hunt...

ahhhhh..... a great start to the week.
