Why is Megan a cowgirl?????
Friday was Chick-fil-a's cow appreciation day - so of course we wanted to show our appreciation (and free food is always a plus!) so we headed to a nearby chick-fil-a to meet up with some other cowboys and cowgirls....

Megan was eager to make sure that Jackson knew where his nose was.
And no visit by a cowgirl is complete without a ride on the invisible horse...

very cute! walter and i tried to go to chickfila for lunch yesterday (not knowing about the cow appreciation day thing until we got there) and ended up having to go to wendy's instead because it was a MADHOUSE. tons of kids. i don't think we saw anyone dressed like a cow at the one we went to though. so much fun that you did that.
Her dress is darlin'. It was fun seeing you all there the other day. I just wish it wasn't so darn hot so we could have stayed and chatted a bit longer.
On another subject...about Bryce's nap...since he got up at 9:30 (or we woke him up) today, he did one nap today, too. I put him down around 2pm (I wouldn't have put him down around 1pm but we were away from the house until 2) and he slept solid until almost 4pm. I left him in the room for another 45 minutes because he wasn't crying. I don't think he ever went to sleep again though. So, I think I'm going to not let him sleep past 8-8:30 so that we can still get 2 naps in for another few months. I'm just not sold this 9/9:30 wake time is here to stay. We'll see.
