Interactive Neighborhood for Kids

Today we had a super fun outing at INK (a sort of children's museum). It's a bit of a drive, but totally worth it. Both my girls loved it! It's an indoor city for kids - perfect for a hot day and perfect for creative little girls.

Here's a little synopsis of our fun:
The loved to go shopping at the super market...

Once the shopping was done, Megan helped to check Nicole out...
Nicole also loved the picnic area and set up a sweet little tea party...

Megan, Nicole and their friend Andrew, also had a great time making some music in the music store...
One of the girls favorite shops was the beauty shop. Megan had to log on to check out the schedule of her customers...
Megan was teaching her apprentice, Nicole, the ins and outs of good hair care and makeup applications...
She was a fast learner and soon got her own customer...

Nicole had a fine ole time with all the train tables they had....
Megan bypassed the train tables because she was paged to duty..... Dr. Megan was busy with all the babies in the hospital nursery...
Once she headed home, to the farm, she had to get some chores done --- like milking the cow...
Nicole wasn't so fond of the big cow, so she decided to work at the bank and do some on-line work...
We also had a great time in the "outdoor area".... we did a little gardening....
Shopped a bit at the farmers market....
Oh wait.... Nicole had to keep running in to chase the trains in the big train display....
The girls flew their first plane...
We ended our day at INK with a little show...
This was Megan's favorite part. We didn't discover it until the end of our trip but she loved putting on costumes and then putting on a little show for all of us. On the way home she told me she couldn't wait to go back and next time she wants to do the stage first because it was so much fun!
